A powerful and influential Archbishop in the time of the Great War of Lordaeron. By studying old documents he created the Esarim.
He was captured by the forces of Andol Corin and seemingly appointed Daevin Shadowbreaker as his successor before being taken back to camp for torture and execution. Marden turned the tables by using the Holy Nova prayer, which killed himself but wound up killing Yune and scarring Corin, despite the healing efforts of Rimtori Sanguinar.
