Marcus Tinacca was the leader of a band of vengeful refugees from Ambermill. After Ambermill was burned to the ground by the retreating General Niccolo Marius, its people sought shelter with the Imperial Host. Instead, the Imperial Host lined the roads with the bodies of refugees.
Blaming Dalaran for the disaster, Marcus formed a band of assassins, thugs and warriors to get revenge on Javali and on James Sherman. An assassination attempt on Javali and Gianata planned by Marcus occurred in Firezne, but it failed.
