When the Highborne were exiled from Kalimdor, they sailed across the ocean and landed in the Eastern Kingdoms. They began to forge their civilization on the western shores of what would be known as the Tirisfal Glades, creating a city vast and magnificent.
Whispers of madness forced them to flee, leaving an empty husk of a city that they called Shorel'Thalas; 'the home to which we bid farewell'.
Although Shorel'Thalas was sealed away and forgotten by those born after it, it was not lost entirely. In time, it became a bastion for the Council of Tirisfal. It was also the site of the Lightist summit of the Perfectibilists.
